What Is the OXVA VPrime 2 Pod Vape Kit?

The OXVA VPrime 2 is a refillable pod vape kit from OXVA, a brand known for its pod systems such as the XLIM and NeXLIM families. It sits in the “power pod” segment. That means it keeps the simple, pocket-friendly pod format, but it adds a bigger battery and a higher wattage ceiling than entry-level pod kits.

In plain terms, the VPrime 2 is built for adult vapers who want one device that can handle several jobs. You can run it tight and discreet for a cigarette-style draw, or open the airflow and raise the wattage for a looser, more vapour-heavy experience.

The kit is available at Vapora Dubai, where the full product page lists all six colours, current stock and ordering options:

OXVA VPrime 2 Specifications

Note: Always confirm final specifications and stock on the official product page before ordering, because details can be updated by the manufacturer.

Design and Build Quality

The first thing you notice about the VPrime 2 is that it does not look like a basic pod kit. OXVA has leaned into a modern, slightly futuristic design language, and the colour range is wide enough that most adults will find a finish they like.

Six Colour Options

• Mirage Blue: a deep, glossy blue with a premium shimmer
• Mirage Purple: a rich purple tone for people who want a device that stands out
• Mirage Pink: a soft, polished pink with a fashionable look
• Black Carbon: a dark carbon-style texture that looks professional and understated
• Shard Black: a black finish with geometric detailing
• Shard Gold: gold accents with a geometric pattern for a more exclusive look

You can compare the colours and pick your favourite on the main product page:

Size, Weight and Pocket Fit

With a 3400mAh battery inside, the VPrime 2 is naturally larger than a slim 1000mAh starter pod. It is still very much a handheld pod device rather than a box mod, and most adults will carry it in a jacket pocket, a bag or a car cup holder without trouble. If you want something much smaller and lighter, a compact starter such as the Geekvape Wenax Q Pod Kit is the better fit. If you want power and endurance, the VPrime 2 makes the trade-off worth it.

Display and Controls

The VPrime 2 uses a colour display, which makes it much easier to see what the device is doing at a glance. Instead of guessing your power level from blinking lights, you can read your settings directly on screen.

This matters most for people who like to change their setup. When you can see your wattage clearly, it becomes simple to find the level that suits a particular e-liquid and then return to it later. For new users, it also removes a lot of the confusion that comes with devices that hide their settings.

Battery Life: What a 3400mAh Battery Means in Daily Use

Battery capacity is where the VPrime 2 separates itself from many everyday pod kits. A 3400mAh built-in battery is more than double the size of the 1300mAh to 1600mAh batteries found in many compact pod systems.

Here is what that typically means for adults in the UAE:

1. Fewer charges. Many users find that a device with a large battery comfortably lasts through a full day of normal use. Exact results depend on your wattage, your puff frequency and your pod and coil.
2. More freedom at higher wattage. Running a pod kit near its upper power range drains the battery faster. A bigger battery gives you room to use those higher settings without constantly worrying about the charge level.
3. Better for travel and long days. If you commute across Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi, or spend long days out, a larger battery means less dependence on a charger.

USB-C Charging

The device charges through a USB Type-C port. That is the same standard as most modern phones and laptops, so you can share a cable and avoid carrying extra accessories. For safe charging, use a good-quality cable and charger, and do not leave the device charging unattended.

If you are building a charging and spare-parts setup, take a look at the Batteries & Chargers category.

Power Output: Up to 60W Explained

The VPrime 2 offers adjustable output up to 60W. For a pod kit, that is a generous ceiling, and it is one of the main reasons people choose this device over simpler ones.

Wattage controls how hot the coil gets. Lower power generally gives a cooler, more subtle vape, and it tends to be gentler on nicotine salt e-liquids. Higher power produces warmer vapour and more of it, but it uses more battery and can shorten coil life if you push it too hard.

Simple Wattage Guide

Always follow the recommended wattage range for the pod and coil you are using. Your pod’s packaging or the manufacturer’s guidance is the best reference, because running a coil outside its range can reduce flavour and coil life.

MTL, RDL and DTL: Which Vaping Style Suits the VPrime 2?

One of the most useful features of this kit is that it supports three vaping styles.

MTL (Mouth-to-Lung)

You draw into your mouth first, then inhale. This is the style closest to smoking a cigarette. It works best with nicotine salt e-liquids and tighter airflow. Many adults switching away from cigarettes start here.

RDL (Restricted Direct-to-Lung)

You inhale straight into the lungs, but with some airflow restriction. This gives a smoother, more relaxed draw than a very open setup, and it is popular with people who want better flavour and more vapour.

DTL (Direct-to-Lung)

You inhale straight into the lungs with a more open airflow. This is typically paired with lower-nicotine e-liquids, because the larger vapour volume delivers more per puff.

Because the VPrime 2 covers all three, it can grow with you. You might begin with MTL and later explore RDL as your preferences change, without needing to buy a new device.

Pods, Coils and Flavour

The VPrime 2 is a refillable pod system, so you fill the pod with your own e-liquid instead of throwing it away when it is empty. That lowers long-term running costs and gives you full control over which flavours you use.

Flavour Performance

Flavour quality in a pod kit depends on three things working together: the coil, the airflow and the power setting. With the VPrime 2, you get enough control over all three to tune the result to your taste.

In general, here is what adults can expect from different e-liquid families:

• Fruity flavours such as mango, watermelon and berry tend to taste bright and crisp when the wattage is set sensibly.
• Menthol and ice flavours deliver a cool, clean finish, and they usually work well at moderate power.
• Tobacco flavours give a familiar, balanced taste for people moving away from cigarettes.
• Dessert flavours are richer and creamier, and they often benefit from slightly warmer settings.

Priming Your Coil

A new coil should always be primed before use. Add e-liquid, let it soak into the coil for a few minutes, and take a few gentle draws without firing at full power. Skipping this step is one of the most common reasons for dry hits and burnt coils.

You can browse spare pods and coils in the Pods & Coil category at Vapora Dubai.

Best E-Liquids for the OXVA VPrime 2 in Dubai

The product page lists the kit as ideal for use with nicotine salts, which is an important hint. Nicotine salt e-liquids are designed for low-power, MTL and RDL-style vaping, and they tend to feel smoother at higher nicotine strengths.

• Nicotine salt e-liquids: the natural match for MTL and RDL use. Explore the Salt Nic Liquid 30ml range.
• Freebase e-liquids: better for lower-nicotine, bigger-vapour setups, particularly in RDL or DTL style. Explore the Freebase E-Liquid range.

Choose a nicotine strength that matches your own needs and your local regulations, and never use e-liquid that is not intended for refillable pod devices.

OXVA VPrime 2 Review: Real-World Performance

This section summarises what adult users typically look for in a power pod kit and how the VPrime 2’s specifications line up with those expectations.

Flavour Quality

With adjustable power and airflow, the VPrime 2 gives you room to bring out the best in a given e-liquid. Delicate fruit blends usually shine at moderate power, while heavier dessert and tobacco blends can handle a little more heat. The ability to fine-tune, rather than accept one fixed setting, is a real advantage over simpler devices.

Draw Feel and Throat Hit

Because the airflow can be adjusted, the draw can range from tight and cigarette-like to looser and airier. Throat hit is mostly controlled by your e-liquid’s nicotine strength and your wattage. Lower power and a salt nicotine liquid give a smoother feel, and higher power gives a warmer, stronger one.

Vapour Production

The 60W ceiling means this kit can produce noticeably more vapour than a typical low-power pod. If you enjoy a fuller exhale, you have the headroom to get it. If you prefer something discreet, you can simply turn the power down.

Battery Endurance

The 3400mAh battery is the headline feature. For most adults, it reduces how often you need to plug in, and it keeps the device running steadily even when you use mid-to-high wattage settings.

Ease of Use

Despite the power on offer, the VPrime 2 stays within the familiar pod format: fill the pod, insert it, and vape. The colour screen makes settings easy to read, so there is no steep learning curve.

5. Insert the pod. Make sure it clicks firmly into the device.
6. Choose your settings. Start at a lower wattage, then adjust upward until the flavour and warmth feel right.

Care and Maintenance Tips

A little care extends the life of both the device and the coil.

• Do not run the device at a power level outside the coil’s recommended range.
• Keep the pod and its contacts clean by wiping them with a soft, dry cloth.
• Keep the USB-C port free of lint and dust.
• Replace the coil when flavour fades or the vapour tastes burnt.
• Avoid heat. Do not leave the kit in a parked car in the Dubai summer, because high temperatures can damage batteries and cause leaks.
• Use quality charging gear and never charge unattended.
• Store the device upright when it is not in use, to reduce the chance of leaks.
